New Video: Diego Lasansky; Revealing Junker Jörg (4:38)
Diego Lasansky is a printmaker and painter living in Iowa City. His new show, Diego Lasansky: A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, will be on display at the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art from April 30 - October 2, 2016. The video will be part of the installation and will hopefully give some insight into Lasansky's artistic process. Diego comes from a family of prominent artists, including his uncle Tomás and Grandfather, Mauricio Lasansky who established the school of printmaking at University of Iowa.

Home to more than forty Pulitzer Prize winners, Iowa City is a special place for writing and writers. Given the UNESCO designation as a “City of Literature”, Iowa City is an international hub of creative writing. How did this unlikely story unfold? This is the question that Ben Hill and I sought to answer in this film. This film premiered on Iowa Public Television and is available in its entirety online at the link below.
